Dear Joy,
I received your letter yesterday.
You have wanted to know about the prize giving ceremony of our school. Now I am
writing about it. It was held on Sunday last in our school’s playground. The
local MP was the chief guest. The function began just at 9.00 am with the recitation of the holy Quran.
The chief guest presided over the function.
After that the events of games started. I took part in two events and
won the first prizes. When all the events were over, the prize giving ceremony
was begun. The chief guest then gave away a prize. Finally, he delivered a
short but valuable speech. We enjoy the function very much.
